What are Family Constellations?
Family Constellations is a Systemic Therapeutical Method, focusing on the liaisons of our unconscious self with our family members and stories.
We are all part of a family and - even if we are not aware of this - we are all connected in a way that behavioral patterns and certain events of the life of our family members, will remain alive in us (and in the subconscious of our family system, throughout many generations) until we can solve them.
The main goal of this amazing therapy is to solve issues that are psychologically, emotionally and physically conflicting and that need to be seen and redefined based on love and acceptance.
Family Constellations are extremely useful for any emotional, behavioral, mental blockage you might feel in you or related to any relationship and context of your life.
Let's break this apart... shall we?
Why "Family"?
This does not mean that you have to bring your family to these sessions. This does not mean that you have to tell your family you are exploring this method. This does not mean you will only bring topics that are related to your family and the relationships with your family.
"Family" stands for the fact that we are all part of a family and that our blockages in life are usually originated in our relationship with our family members, with the dynamics our families have and the stories of our families.
Why "Constellations"
This does not mean you will be looking at stars and their connections.
"Constellations" stands for the fact that through this method we look at the connections of stories. Many generations ago maybe something happened in your family that was so important that still needs to be integrated. When we do a Family Constellation sessions, we place certain topics and then we observe how they connect with each other, how they interact, how they affect each other. In life, everything connects, even if these connections come from far away.
Just like stars, whose connections shape and form a constellation.
What is a "System"?
This does not mean we are being shaped into robotic systems.
"System" stands for the fact that each family operates, behaves, in a certain way. Remember when, one day, you went to your friend's place and realized his/her family didn't behave the same way yours did? The word "system" is about these "dynamics" every family has. Yourself, as an individual, are a system. Your family is a system you are part of.
And then, all the other contexts you are part of, are also systems. Your work, your friendships, your relationships. They are all connected to your family, your family system.
How does it work?
More than a method, Family Constellations is a philosophy of life through which you work on yourself on a deep, loving, accepting and eye opening level.
Example of topics that can be looked at through this method:
- professional blockages;
- money issues;
- relationship issues;
- lack of strength, motivation in life;
- health problems;
- repeated patterns and issues;
- and so much more!
In an individual setting of a Family Constellations' session we use figurines, meditation and other systemic exercises that will guide you and your system.
This the perfect setting if you feel that your topic is something that your feel you should work on privately.
An individual session lasts up to 90min.
Price:
online session 500AED (incl. 5% VAT);
in-person session (in a professional establishment; location confirmed upon booking) 800AED (incl. 5% VAT).
